This workshop is about the art of night photography. This experience will unlock the mysteries of how to create amazing night photography when the only light is stars and planets, the Milky Way and meteorites! I will show you how to get photos that you can't see but your camera can capture.
I have a great new location for this workshop! It has a lake for reflections, beautiful r mountains, lots of great nature to paint with light and a big sky filled with stars, planets, the Milky Way and the incredible Perseid Meteor showers. The workshop is planned to shoot during date with the most intense meteor showers...50 per minute! Our resident astronomer Robin Winsor is kindly doing the celestial math and putting together a shoot plan to best capture the meteor shower.
The plan
After a short, easy walk to this secret location we will shoot the sunset, then capture the Blue Hour and then the clear night sky-free of light pollution- as we sip hot chocolate, other drinks and tasty treats. A bit of a nocturnal photography party. Party with the stars:)
We will be outdoors in a beautiful place with no people besides us and lots of space!
What you will learn:
Includes instruction and drinks and food and a great location
All participants must have a good working knowledge of their camera. A DSLR camera is required.
