Miracle of metering

This evening, online engaging class is all about how to get great exposures using metering. Metering is one of the most important things to learn and get good at to be a good photographer. Why? The term photography means painting with light. Painters have paint. Writers have words. We have light to create our art.

Of all the things I know and have taught metering is the most difficult thing for people to understand and get good at. Why? We don't see light the same way as a camera and cameras can capture light in ways we can't.
