I have arranged for us to photograph a beautiful adult grizzly bear in the wild. This is the largest enclosed and protected grizzly bear habitat in the world. The 20-acre area is the home of the resident orphaned grizzly bear, His name is Boo. Within this natural mountainside habitat, Boo hunts, plays, forages, and explores just like his wild cousins. He is pretty much a wild bear but has humans who keep him safe from trains, cars and other dangers.
We'll take a gondola part way up the mountain and spend the morning photographing Boo. We will also be given an interpretive tour to get up close to Boo and shoot photos and learn about Boo and bears. As we shoot while we learn the techniques to shooting amazing wildlife photography. Then, we will have lunch at the mountain top Eagles Eye restaurant, after that we will spend the afternoon photographing wildflowers and the beautiful mountain landscape of the Columbia valley.
This workshop is like a one day vacation close to home!
We will have a fun adventure learning, shooting and exploring this one-of-a-kind place and as usual. learn how to create great photos!
