This photographic adventure into the Badlands of Alberta's legendary Drumheller area is all about incredible landscapes and amazing photography!
National Geographic says there is nowhere on the earth as rich in quantity and quality of the prehistoriccreatures' remains as the Badlands' arid Dinosaur Provincial Park and UNESCO World Heritage. People come from all over the world to see the mysterious, surreal land of hoodoos, milky rivers, old cottonwoods, old buildings, big skies and gorgeous sunsets.
Brad used to roam the badlands every weekend shooting the landscape and looking for dinosaur bones and later shot photos for the Jackie Chan movie Shanghai Noon. He will take you to the best 'secret' locations at the best times for the best photos.
The Plan: We will car-pool from Calgary and then roam and shoot the historic almost ghost town of Dorothy Alberta. We will shoot the classic old church, solitary grain elevator, old cars and abandoned buildings and all the history of this one-of-a-kind place. Then, we will roam the coulees, Hoo Doos and the best, most incredible landscapes of the legendary area and create great photos during the best light! Then, we will head to the historic, legendaryLast Chance Saloon for some food, cold drinks in mason jars, a critique sessionand hear stories about the old bullet holes in the walls.
