'Wabi-sabi is the Japanese art of finding beauty in imperfection. It's simple, slow, and uncluttered-and it reveres authenticity above all. Wabi-sabi is flea markets, not warehouse stores; aged wood, not Pergo; rice paper, not glass. It celebrates cracks and crevices and all the other marks of time.'
If a photo speaks a thousand words this place speaks of a thousand photos. We have an opportunity to shoot here while learning how to capture texture, detail and use light to tell the story of old - the story of wabi-sabi wonders.
What you will learn/experience: We have special permission to explore and photograph all the wonders of this beautiful antiques store. We will show you how to use focus, depth of field and lighting to capture all the textures, details and soooo many stories. This class will teach you a lot about your lenses and what they can do.
